Industries
The Monroe Cable Company is a leading supplier of shipboard electrical wire and cable for the United States Navy. Our MIL-DTL-24643, 24640, and 915 cables are currently deployed on every combat ship and submarine in the US Navy Fleet and are utilized by allied forces with significant US Based weapons systems. In addition to the products appearing on the Qualified Product Database (QPD), we supply customized cable solutions for unique and emergent requirements. Working closely with the Navy and OEM’s, we provide solutions to today as well as tomorrow’s challenges. We also manufacture WD1-A/TT and WF-16 field wire for the United States Army.
MCC manufactures low-smoke, zero-halogen traction power cables (TR-LS), communications (TC), and signal cables (TS-LS) for subway, light rail and people-mover applications. MCC is an established and qualified manufacturer supporting the New York City Transit Authority, related MTA entities and their supporting base of electrical contractors.
MCC is an approved manufacturer of the New York City Fire Department’s fire alarm signal cables.
MCC Type P cable is designed for use in the harsh environments found on offshore & land-based drilling rigs, related service vessels, and oil & gas production facilities. The MCC offering includes power, control, signal & instrumentation in both flame-retardant and fire resistant (as applicable) variants complying with IEEE Std. 1580, UL 1309 and a host of additional international standards.
